PM Modi Responds to Trump’s “Will Always Be Friends” Remark
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has warmly acknowledged former U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent comment that he and Modi “will always be friends.”
Trump’s remark came as part of his broader comments on maintaining good relations with world leaders he has worked with in the past. Responding to this, PM Modi said he “fully reciprocates” Trump’s sentiments, underlining the importance of India–U.S. ties and the personal rapport between the two leaders.

The two leaders were often seen highlighting their close relationship at major public events, including the “Howdy, Modi” rally in Houston and the “Namaste Trump” event in Ahmedabad.
